Duane and a headhunter tribe.  The women are three of the chief's five wives.
After taking this picture we turned our digital camera around to show the women their picture.  All the women started gasping and laughing, pointing at the picture and at eachother.  The woman whose hand I'm holding kept looking down at her dress and back at the picture.  Suddenly she shouted out as she recognized she was looking at a picture of herself.  Duane and I then realized that these women had probably never seen clear reflections of themselves before.  For, as we later realized, the simple luxury of a mirror is inconceivable in parts of PNG.
